DevFest is a festival for developers community that takes place in a variety of formats: seminars, training programs, codelabs, hackathons. This is one of the major annual events hosted by Google Developer Group in over 600 chapters in different countries around the world.
With the DevFest 2019 season taking place from September to November in 18 chapters in South East Asia, GDG MienTrung is proud to be the only organizer of DevFest to host a Hackathon in Vietnam.
The event is an opportunity for developers, young people who are passionate about technology, to get connected, interact and learn about each other, as well as to experience and update new technology trends around the world.
The Hackathon competition with the subject “Green Up! Your Code“. 100 developers are devided into 20 teams in 48 intensive hours with enthusiatics support from more than 30 specialized Mentors/Facilitators. Competitors can apply invidually or in team.
The best 10 Hackathon team will be selected to compete in the Demoday and awared the prizes. Demoday will also be concluded presentation on lastest technology updates, exhibition from IT booths in Vietnam, especially the communication with 20 hackathon teams in the private area.
